PRINTS & FRAMING

Below is a description of the print media I offer. These have been carefully selected for the best visual experience and top quality. Each print is crafted to meet gallery-quality standards. Every print is a premium piece of artwork that will help make your home or office feel unique, positive, and modern. If you want to frame an artwork at a local frame shop, I provide standard print sizes commonly used in the framing industry. I also offer custom-sized prints. 

PRINT TYPES

If you want to see how a specific print type looks like, I can provide a test print of your chosen artwork. The test print is smaller and has a label "Test print". To order it, please get in touch and specify which artwork you are interested in and which print type(s) you'd like to see.

I offer the following types of prints:

  • Ultra HD Acrylic Glass Print, glossy
  • Matte Acrylic Glass Print, glare-free
  • Loose print on Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta or Pearl paper for color photos, and
  • Loose print on Ilford Baryta Fine Art paper for black and white photos.
The Acrylic Glass prints are frameless and give an ultra-modern, contemporary look with incredible visual appeal to any space, whether it is your house or an office. The benefit of the frameless Acrylic Glass prints is that you do not have to spend extra on purchasing a frame. Each Acrylic Glass print comes finished with a wall mount and is ready to hang.
If you want to have your print framed, I offer the premium Aluminium Art frame described below.

The loose prints are for those who prefer to manage the mounting and framing themselves. These prints are not framed, matted, or mounted. It is the most budget-friendly option, allowing you to take it to a local frame shop.

ULTRA HD ACRYLIC GLASS PRINT | GLOSSY | READY TO HANG

Acrylic Glass is light, shatterproof, and resistant to temperature fluctuations. The sharpening applied to Ultra HD print brings the finest details to life. Compared to conventional prints, Ultra HD Acrylic Glass prints offer better resolution and sharpness. Printed on Fuji Crystal Professional Archive Maxima Paper. Through the increased dynamic range and maximum density, your Ultra HD Acrylic Glass print appears more vivid and rich in contrast than conventional prints. A hanging system is included for easy mounting.

The print consists of 3 layers:

1 - Glossy Acrylic Glass, 1/8 in. (4 mm)

2 - Photo print and elastic silicone seal

3 - Robust aluminum Dibond backing

MATTE ACRYLIC GLASS PRINT | GLARE-FREE | READY TO HANG

The matte Acrylic Glass print utilizes the same top-of-the-line printing process as the Ultra HD Acrylic Glass print above, but your print appears more discreet and calm due to the matte surface. It is the most popular choice of my customers due to its glare-free matte finish. There is a very practical aspect in favor of a matte finish: the reflection-free presentation is ideally suited for brightly lit environments or where artwork is hung across from windows. The light is absorbed, resulting in no reflections regardless of the viewing angle.

The print is mounted under 2 mm of matte Acrylic Glass, backed with 3 mm aluminum Dibond, and sealed with elastic silicone.

To make the full spectrum of the finest shades of gray visible, pure monochrome Ilford photo paper is used, and the image is sealed behind gallery-quality Acrylic Glass.

The Ilford paper is the perfect choice for black-and-white photographs. It meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance. Loose print is not framed, which gives you the flexibility of taking it to a local frame shop.

Gallery-quality fine art archival paper.

Hahnemühle Pearl is a fine art paper specially tailored for fine art use. It has a special coating that produces an elegant finish with a subtle pearl-gloss effect.

This fine art paper has a delicately textured surface and a smooth, silky feel.

The paper impresses with outstanding reproduction of color and detail, deep blacks, and striking contrasts. It meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance.

FRAMING

For those of my collectors who would like to have their artwork framed without wasting time going to a frame shop, I offer a premium Aluminum Art frame. The frame made of glazed aluminum perfectly matches Ultra HD Acrylic Glass prints as they create a contemporary, elegant, and timeless look. The modern black or silver Aluminum Art frame turns your artwork into real eye-catchers and comes with a hanging system.

The small gap [2] between the picture [3] and the aluminum frame [1] makes the image appear to be floating weightlessly.

The reasons why I do not offer many framing options are:

Acrylic Glass prints look amazing on the wall frameless, having a clean, modern, and contemporary look. It is the preferred option for the majority of art collectors today.

There are hundreds of framing options on the market, and I would not like to limit your selection to just a few options.

The most cost-efficient solution for the Client is to take the print to a local frame shop and choose a frame that matches the print and the decor of your home or a working environment.

Frameless Acrylic Glass prints reduce the purchase and shipping costs significantly.

    INTEGRATED HANGING SYSTEMS

    A different hanging system wall-mount is selected and attached depending on the size of the artwork. It is included in the price. Below, you can see the hanging systems available. If you would like to have your artwork without hanging hardware, please get in touch to let me know.

    ALUMINIUM RAIL RECTANGLE

    Depending on format, it has two pieces for a vertical edge length of 10" - 20" (26 - 50 cm), or around all edges for large sizes.
